FAQ updates, bedroom available, online facilitators needed, Gather virtual meet-up space, online bookings reopened

Two days to go!

If you have any questions, it's well worth checking out the website, which is still being frequently updated still, including the FAQ page: https://2022.bicon.org.uk/faqs/

We still have a bedroom available in case anyone wants to upgrade to an accomodation ticket.

We are looking for a few volunteers to be co-hosts/facilitators for the online parts of the blended sessions and with the online-only ones. This can be you if you're attending in person, have a laptop with you and are willing to join the session online from your bedroom, or if you are an online-only attendee. We'd like to hear from people who are familiar with the basic functions of Zoom and who have basic facilitation skills. You will be keeping an eye on how each session is going for the online attendees in particular, together with the hosts and session leads in Leeds. Contact  to offer your help. Many thanks.

Throughout BiCon there will also be a virtual meet-up space available on Gather, where you can hang out, chat or play games. Best let people know you are there, e.g. via the BiCon discord. Alternatively, there will also  be a dedicated meet-up on Friday 6:30 to 7:30pm and on Saturday 6:00 to 7:00pm so, if you want to have a virtual social, feel free to drop by.

We closed bookings for online registration yesterday because we were overwhelmed with registrations from people who had not had anti-racism training. If you have completed anti-racism training we have now reopened registration for online attendance
