Three days to go!
Everyone attending online needs to have completed their anti-racism training by now. We are no longer accepting new online registrations for BiCon. Sorry.
Everyone attending in person on Friday or Saturday who has not completed anti-racism training must register between 8 & 9.30am in time to attend training at 10. Please arrive on time because I don't want to be turning people away at front desk.
Covid passes. Our preferred proof of covid vaccines is on the NHS app, as in the policy. This is because solid proofs can be lost or forgotten, and that would stressful for everyone. I posted the policy 4 months ago so people had plenty of warning, and gave the reminder a week ago mindful that these things take time to arrange. If you can't sort the covid pass, proofs like the card you received upon receiving the vaccine is acceptable, but make sure your full name is on this, and triple check that it is packed before setting off to BiCon.
Check in begins at 4pm on Thursday. You must check out of your flats and hand in your keys by 10am on Sunday.
James (they/them) designed our awesome logo this year, and Fennec has got it printed onto some awesome t-shirts and badges. Grab your t-shirt from our shop on StreetShirts [ https://www.streetshirts.co.uk/sell-t-shirts?PFC[SSDi0wlTyksKfEGXHAdlpHycx1yRmV] ], and a badge from the craft stall in Acre room. Take a BiCon memory home with you! We will also have free stall space for flyers and crafts.
Massive thanks to the five people who have volunteered so far for the desk on Thursday & Friday. Usually more people sign up for later days at the even itself, but we really need to know who will be on desk early on ASAP. Grab a slot now – we'll tell you what you need to do, and we'll make sure you you're with someone who's done it before. Email biconuk2022@gmail.com to volunteer.
We have a spare room that has become available if someone wants to sleep over on site. Email biconuk2022@gmail.com to arrange payment if you're interested.
